RENTING FROM LUCIDA BOUTIQUE
By purchasing, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with the rental of the garment. The fees and charges to rent the garment will include but are not limited to the rental fee, GST and delivery charges (where applicable). If you have a gift card, you may elect to use this to pay part or all of the rental charges. Any additional payment of a monetary amount required to rent a garment must be paid using an approved credit card. If the garment becomes unavailable (due to damage or late return by another Member), Lucida Boutique will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. In that event, you can either rent another garment or have the debited funds remitted to your credit card or held as credit on your account.
DELIVERY OF GARMENTS
Lucida Boutique will arrange for the delivery of the garments to the delivery address nominated by you. Risk in the garment passes to you upon delivery to the delivery address and terminates upon receipt of the garment from you by Lucida Boutique. All delivery dates and times provided by Lucida Boutique are estimates only. You agree that no delay will not entitle you to terminate the order and/or to claim for any consequential loss or damage.
LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED GARMENTS
When garments are returned damaged or soiled, Lucida Boutique may at its sole discretion repair and/or clean the garments and charge you for those repairs and/or cleaning. If Lucida Boutique considers the garments to be beyond economical repair and/or cleaning, Lucida Boutique will charge you the full replacement value of the garments. The replacement value of the garment will be advertised on the swing tag on the garment at the time of borrowing and by accepting the terms and conditions at the time of sale, you agree to the replacement value if the garment is lost or damaged. If the garments are lost or stolen whilst within your possession or control, you will be charged the full replacement value of the garments, as well as all applicable charges. You authorise Lucida Boutique to charge any additional charges to your credit card if the garments are retuned late, damaged, lost, soiled, stolen and/or unreturned.
LATE RETURN OF GARMENTS
The Lucida Boutique rental period is four (4) days. If you choose to keep the garments for more than your rental period, then you will be charged a thirty ($30.00) late fee for every day you are late up to the full replacement value of the garment. You must ensure that the garments are returned:
- by the date advised by Lucida Boutique
- in the same condition as obtained by you (excluding fair wear and tear)
With delivery of your garment, pre-paid return packaging is provided. Please ensure that you place your dress inside the self-address envelope and drop at your nearest Post Office or Yellow Express Postal Box by 4pm on the last day of your hire.
If you picked up your dress in store, please ensure you return your garment to Cressbells Drycleaning 631 Sturt Street, Ballarat by 5pm on the last day of your hire.
Professional cleaning is included in your hire and you agree that no attempts will be made to clean, alter, iron/press garment/s (unless otherwise arranged). Lucida Boutique shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints associated with a product rented from our site. Our products have been worn by other consumers prior to your rental.
If you do not pay the amounts owed to Lucida Boutique when due, Lucida Boutique will pass on the invoices to a collection company to pursue you for collections, including and without limitation attorney and collection fees. Lucida Boutique reserves the right to terminate your right to rent products at any time at Lucida Boutique’s discretion should you breach this agreement or for any other reason.
We are happy to offer a full refund on orders cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to the rental start date.
If your order is cancelled within 2 weeks of your rental start date, we will happily credit your order in full and this store credit can be used on a future rental within a 6 month period.
Any order placed by You in the manner described in this Site is an offer by You to purchase a particular Product for the price (including the delivery and other charges) specified on this Site at the time You place your order. You acknowledge that, by placing Your order, You are agreeing to pay for and accept delivery of the Product ordered unless You ask Lucida Boutique to cancel that order, and Lucida Boutique sends you written confirmation of the cancellation prior to the Product being dispatched to You.
Lucida Boutique may change the prices published on this Site at any time. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of prices and information displayed on the Site, Lucida Boutique reserves the right to accept or reject Your offer for any reason, including without limitation, the unavailability of any Product, an error in the price of the Product description posted on this Site, or an error in Your order. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
the applicable price expressed in Australian dollars and are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax for the relevant Product as confirmed by Lucida Boutique; and
the delivery fee and other charges specified on the Site in Australian dollars at that time.
Lucida Boutique takes no responsibility for customers not being aware of relevant promo codes that may apply to a particular purchase. Promo Codes must be redeemed at the time of purchase and for each order You must pay the new applicable price. It is not possible to apply promo codes once an order has been placed.
Your order and credit card details are safe and secure. All personal and credit card information provided to the website is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an encryption protocol that protects data as it travels over the Internet. At this stage we can only accept payments using the methods stated in the payment options section of the Site. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to return or exchange an item. This can be done within 14 days of purchase.
FAULTY RETURNS POLICY FOR REPLACEMENT, REFUND OR REPAIR
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, within 30 days of purchase. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Where permitted by law, all other rights are excluded.
In order to make a claim under the preceding paragraph You must return the Product:
in accordance with the protocol in the section above titled RETURNS AND EXCHANGE : and
accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.
